Statement

The results of analyses relating to monitoring of the physico-chemical status of surface water and groundwater are produced by laboratories that apply the technical specifications for chemical analysis and monitoring of water status set out in Directive 2009/90/EC. These laboratories are designated by public tender by "Bruxelles Environnement- Leefmilieu Brussel".Data relating to the quantitative status of groundwater are produced by Bruxelles Environnement- Leefmilieu Brussel’ as regards the piezometric levels of groundwater bodies and by the drinking water producer, Vivaqua, in the protection zone of water catchments intended for human consumption. The flows taken from groundwater are provided by the water producers who have groundwater abstraction authorisations issued by Bruxelles Environnement_ Leefmilieu Brussel".
