This dataset lists the open-air markets that are held weekly on public spaces in the Brussels-Capital Region.
The data is broken down by market occurrence (the day the market is held) and includes the market’s location, name, day of operation, opening hours, and the number of stalls present at the time of the survey. The date of the survey is also provided.

The survey of market occurrences is carried out once a year by the teams at hub.brussels.
For each market occurrence, the observer counts every stall and identifies the type of products being sold (e.g., vegetables, meat, clothing, etc.).
The data is then aggregated at the market occurrence level to indicate the total number of stalls, along with a breakdown into categories that group several types of stalls (e.g., "Everyday Products" includes stalls selling vegetables, meat, etc.).
