Statement

This dataset is produced from the photographic archives of the Royal Air Force (343rd squadron) and the US Army Air Force (12th squadron). The various overflights in 1944 were carried out on various dates, at undetermined altitudes. The images are held in the National Collection of Aerial Photographs of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Scotland.
