Commissioned by Brussels Environment, BovaEnviro+ went in search of innovative inspection technologies and techniques to assist environmental monitoring officers, or inspectors, in carrying out their inspections. The report includes: an inventory of the information and concerns of the inspectors regarding the project; an overview of the technologies and techniques used in Belgium - outside Brussels - and in other European countries (France, the Netherlands and Germany); an assessment of the advantages/disadvantages (limitations) of the selected technologies and techniques; and an overview of the costs of the technologies and techniques and an inventory of potential suppliers.

The study was split into three issues:

- issue 1: air quality, climate and emissions of air pollutants ;

- issue 2: noise and vibration ;

- issue 3: surface waters.

L'étude a été divisée en trois lots :

- lot 3 : eaux de surface.

In opdracht van Leefmilieu Brussel ging BovaEnviro+ op zoek naar innovatieve inspectietechnologieën en -technieken om de beambten belast met het milieutoezicht, of inspecteurs, bij te staan bij de uitvoering van hun controles. Het verslag omvat: een inventarisatie van de informatie en bedenkingen van de inspecteurs betreffende het project; een overzicht van de technologieën en technieken die in België - buiten Brussel - en in andere Europese landen (Frankrijk, Nederland en Duitsland) worden gebruikt; een beoordeling van de voordelen/nadelen (beperkingen) van de geselecteerde technologieën en technieken; en een overzicht van de kosten van de technologieën en technieken en een inventarisatie van potentiële leveranciers.

De studie werd opgesplitst in drie percelen:

- perceel 1: luchtkwaliteit, klimaat en emissies van luchtverontreinigende stoffen ;

- perceel 2: geluid en trillingen ;

- perceel 3: oppervlaktewateren.
