It was sold to the Société Générale at the same time as the Forest, it was sold and then cleared from 1831-33. At the beginning of the 20th century, Albert Blieck, an industrialist in Molenbeek, had a villa built there designed by the architect Fritz Seeldrayers, in the middle of a park laid out by the landscape architect Jules Buyssens and the rock cutter François Dumilieu, two figures of the Jardin picturesque movement. Two successive owners have subsequently changed the contours and character of this private estate, which was relatively neglected for twenty years after the Second World War. Het land van La Sauvagère maakte ooit deel uit van het Forêt de Soignes. Het werd verkocht aan de Société Générale op hetzelfde moment als het Bos, werd het verkocht en vervolgens ontdaan van1831-33. In het begin van de 20e eeuw liet Albert Blieck, een industrieel uit Molenbeek, er een villa bouwen door de architect Fritz Seeldrayers, midden in een park aangelegd door de landschapsarchitect Jules Buyssens en de rotssnijder François Dumilieu, twee figuren van de Jardin schilderachtige beweging. Twee opeenvolgende eigenaars hebben vervolgens de contouren en het karakter van dit particuliere landgoed, dat na de Tweede Wereldoorlog twintig jaar lang relatief verwaarloosd werd. Gekocht door de gemeente Ukkel in 1964, werd het een openbare groenvoorziening een paar jaar later en herbergt verschillende sportfaciliteiten en huisdieren. De nabijheid van andere beschermde natuurgebieden (Kauwberg, Geleytsbeekvallei, Engeland plateau, Verrewinkel bos, Fond Roy...) rechtvaardigt zijn opname in het in het Natura 2000-netwerk in 2016.
